What I Wore in Paris // Day 2

Salut!

Our second day kept us on our feet....lots of walking and I definitly had more layers on today! During the day it was very sunny but in the evening on top of the Eiffel Tower was pretty windy and cold.

Our time in Paris was magnificent and being on top of the Eiffel Tower....breath taking. The third picture is of us on the very top!! Patrick was a bit nervous and I loved the view!

*I'm kind of embarressed of the first picture....my belt and skirt is crooked. Didn't see it until way later. :/

Summer Lime

 I've worn this lime dress on the blog before. Today I am (finally) sharing one of my favorite summer outfits. I love how quick it thrown together, how cool it feels and how classy it looks!

The bright lime green reminds me of this centerpiece I made!

And I am SOOO sorry you have not heard from me in a long time... I have some outfits scheduled....and after my Paris trip next weekend I'll share my outfits I chose for our anniversary weekend!

What to Wear With:

So I bought this skirt at target almost a year. It was my very first maxi skirt and is SUPER comfortable. Both colors in the skirt are colors I wear often. But I had a problem.

You see, I am extremly matchy-matchy which gives lots of compliments on how my outfits always "go together so well". But you see....the turquoise in the skirt is more greenish limiting the shirts I can actually wear. And the blue is so weird...almost purply looking with a normal navy.

What other colors can I wear with it?

I asked that exact question to a modest fashion group I'm in and this is what they said:

Coral, yellow, hot pink, purple, white, black and silver.

Do you have any suggestions and would you wear it with a bold color?

    

Striped Woods

Last week I took a trip to the woods with my first grade. It was our first field trip and they all did very good. I am very proud of them and cannot wait to do a field trip again.

Saying all of this to tell you why I chose this outfit. It's a casual outfit for me....don't wear it often but was perfect for my trip. Did a bit of pattern mixing with my scarf and Tee. Wore my navy jacket in the morning until it started getting pretty hot. We've been having pretty warm weather the last few days....cooling down again though.

Turqoise & Blue // What I've Been Up Too

Hello Ladies,

Sorry I have not posted for such a long time....but finally I edited these picures from last week and sharing them here on Feminine Modesty. Last week we went to visit some friends that live in the country and we took a long walk in the beautiful German spring weather. The sun ist still a bit chilly so my trench coat is perfect.

I am in love with my blue trench coat. I normally don't spend money on clothes but when I saw just a few left over at an Aldi sale I had to check if they hstill had my size... they did. Since then I've been wearing it every day. It's just so classy! :)

The skirt is new to me and I totally love the fit. Flowy but not to big...pretty but comfortable. The scarf I got for 2€....☺ I like wearing turquoise and blue together.

Winterized Maxi

Today I wore Saturdays challenge of the "Winterized Maxi"....

I decided to wear my maxi skirt as a dress....it's definitely long enough! ☺ Today was surprisingly warm out but I did wear a turquoise long sleeve shirt underneath and a matching blue sweater. In order for me not to look like a tent I wore a belt.

I totally love my one and only maxi.....and so want more! When I get more I am wanting to get various solid colors though so I can wear them with many things!

Instagram // Blue Tights

This is the Sunday outfit I wore to church today... Except that I wore blue heels instead of these flats.
The blue tights were a little out of my comfort zone... but I did not have A new Sunday outfit at my new apartment... So I had to make do with the clothes I had there already. I did not want to wear the same outfit again.... Now that it is starting to get chilly...this is what came together.

Frilly 50's

Hi Friends,

Love this outfit! It is so fun & happy.....don't know of a better way to explain it. This blue polkadot dress was bought for my engagement pictures....but was a GREAT investment. I just love navy polkadots and you can wear it with so many solid colors: red, turquoise, peach, yellow...the list goes on.

Last Sunday I paired it with my ruffled turquoise sweater to make it a little warmer. The polka dot & turquoise flower pulled everything together making it matchy matchy. The necklace I traded on a German online sale and actually has floral material weaved in it.

The weather has been nice and warm this past week......but you can see it....fall is here!
