I haven't blogged in forever! And when I saw that Bramblewood Fashion was holding a Autumn Trend Event I decided to join and "play dress-up" on Saturday and come up with a few different fall outfits. 

The one above does not have any typical fall colors but I can make my favorite colors work any time of the year. ☺ I love how the barret, scarf, lace cardigan and brown boots give this red, white and blue outfit a fun fall feel. Agree?

My fashion Tip for today is: Wear any color you want but use fall related items to be ready for the autumn weather!

Denim Plaid & Summer

I was so excited when my T-shirt I bought matched the red color in the hand-me-down sleeveless shirt! This isn't really a cool summer outfit....but for one of those less hot summer days this outfit is dressy casual.
The demin with the open shirt make it casual...the dark denim with the collared shirt dress it up.

Do wear this kind of style....with an open collared shirt? It's not everyone's "thang".

Summerfield

I wore this dress on Sunday and love it. I bought it from a thrift shop last week. I am always looking for dresses and was SUPER happy when I came across this one. It was a little too short for my liking....but this was easily fixed with a slip. 

When I was thinking of a name for the post I thought of "Summer field". 

What would you call this dress?

A Little Bird Told Me

So I got a gift card to SIX for Easter and finally had time to do a little shopping. The were having a special deal where you buy 2 for 3 things....perfect! When I saw this blue, white, red scarf with birds on it it could not have screamed any louder! Those are my favorite colors....and birds....well I love birds.

The rest of the outfit was made to match the scarf....yeah....I pick out my outfits to match my accessories sometimes.

Plaid After Christmas

It was finally nice to just wear something and not try to match Christmas colors... And yet plaid is christmassy. I wanted a comfortable outfit that I didn't mind wearing all day.

I've worn this skirt on the blog before... It is a very comfortable skirt I like to wear during the cold months here. Because it is really cold now... We are below freezing and have snow. Can I say finally? Soon enough I will be wanting warmer weather again. 

I made a video of my makeup routine that I hopefully will share sometime this week... So stay on the lookout!

Accents of Fur

I know I have not been faithful to post my outfit the last few days again...but today (on my first day of school break) I am back! 

Today I am doing the Challenge "Accents of fur (or leather)". This was not easy for me since I have nothing with fur or leather. I unbuttoned this fur off of my coat....yep. Turned out pretty cool, didn't it? I did feel a little to much like Mrs. Clause....but it definitly was Christmasy!

A Little Bit of Sparkle

Yesterday's challenge was "Sparkles". Even though I LOVE sparkles and glitter I don't really own anything sparkly....I am keeping my eye open for a gold sparkle top.

I didn't get to wear this fun outfit for long though. In the morning I had to wear black & white for our Christmas program at the retirement home and then before heading to church I slipped with my fork and had food all over my clothes....ahem.

But I think this is a fun Christamssy outfit too.

Lots of Layering Love

Layering....I do it every day....summer & winter. I love the feel and the look of layers. Well first of all in Germany the weather can change pretty drastically and it's better to become prepared but I also love layering different colors and making them go together. 

Since just about every outfit on this blog is layered I decided to do a Christmas combination. Red and green is VERY christmasy and I don't think would be fitting any other time of the year. Red & green are my favorite Christmas colors....and gold of course.  The gold necklace made this rather comfy/casual outfit a little more dressy.....and my basic color is brown. So I wore my simple brown skirt.

So what is your favorite Christmas color(s)?

Shades of Red & Gold

Sundays challenge actually read "Shades of Red and Silver" but silver is not my metal....and I only own gold things. So I just changed it to red & gold. ☺ 

I love wearing dresses for church and in order to create that look I wore a matching red shirt and a white sweater one, against the cold and two to hide the two piece look. I really like how this christmasy outfit turned out.

I ♥ My Blanket Scarf

I love my blanket scarf! I got it after Christmas with my gift card last year at SIX. I wear it every day as my "outside" scarf. I normally don't wear it as an accessory scarf... first, it's pretty big and long and secondly because I'm just not a big "scarf-wearer". I love it though. It's also really nice because on those days when its just a little chilly out and I am a bit cold I like wrap this scarf around me..... If you don't have one...you need to get one! They are so pretty and useful!

Fall in Plaid

This is what I wore for church today.... the plaid skirt is super comfortable and perfect for fall.....I've worn it twice on the blog before but can only find this one here. 

Today I combined it with a blue cami and a brown knit shirt. Even though it was a warmer day today it is getting a but windy and the blue sweater brings it all together.

I like wearing belts over my shirt if I am wearing a sweater to accent the waist......and my red bubble necklace....a favorite.

A Burst of Spring...in Summer

So much to my goal of showing you my mix and match outfits I wear from my suitcase.....I am happy to finally have internet and do some wedding planning after 3 weeks of no internet!! And yeah....getting outfit pictures are hard to get when you are not in a normal schedule.

But I quickly grabbed Patrick Sunday afternoon an had him take some outfit pictures....before I took a much needed nap!

The top I got as a birthday gift....the skirt I found at the thrift store for $2....the shoes I brought as well as the jewelry.

In between busy moving days I've been able to visit the local thrift store....it is pretty small but they always are getting new stuff and their prices are pretty good.... I love thrift shopping!

Outfit on the Move

Business follows me everywhere....even in my travels. Patrick's family is moving, so there is a lot of packing, boxing, moving things and cleaning.....

I chose this comfortable outfit I chose today for boxing and moving... I'll be changing tonight for church.

The shirt is something I packed....the skirt is a actually a sun dress we found on sale in FL. It's light and flowy- perfect for sitting on the floor and crawling in a truck.

Also loving my pulled back curly hair.....kind of a cute messy look. Perfect for running around. ☺
