Peach & Mint

I've worn this outfit (or something similar) and gotten many compliments. Everyone loves the fun colors....the reason I love wearing it!

The first time I wore this combo was for a shopping outing at IKEA....a rainy day and it made me feel so happy inside.

My friend foing with me was saying how she loved all the little details in this outfit...how even my tank top peaking out gave the outfit extra depth and the shoes....even if they don't perfectly fit really pull the outfit together.

Yes, she was right....I love this outfit....want to wear it on my trip to Paris! By the time this post goes live we are coming back....so we shall see if I packed it!

Royal Maxima

Wore this outfit yesterday....and while we were waiting to be picked up for church I had Patrick take a picture of my outfit.

I got this new maxi last week on sale....$16. I normally don't spend money on clothes but I want to get more solid maxis in my closet and this was a start. I have a tank top with that same royal blue which made two of my first graders ask if it was a dress....nope....it's a skirt. lol This maxi is VERY long though. I see myself cutting a few inches off in the future. I was getting stuck on my shoes, chairs and what not.

The blouse was gifted to me about 4 years ago.... The shoes I got last summer and I wore them ALL THE TIME....and they are still sooo comfortable. I wear a lot of white and these sanguine covered boat shoes are just cute and comfortable. Payless....my favorite shoe store.

Pastels

I've been wanting to post this outfit since last week.... and now I am finally getting around to upload it.

I just love my pastel colors....looking bright and cheery in dull & black dressed winter world. I want to inspire you all to go through a week not wearing anything black....it might actually cheer you up during the long cold days.

Do you wear a lot of dark colors during the winter?

Winter Wonderland

Things have been a bit slow here since the challenge ended but I do want to continue posting regulary even if it is not every day. ☺ 

This was yesterday's outfit I quickly put together. While putting clothes away I saw my mint sweater and was looking forward to an opportunity to wear it. Sorry you cannot see my skirt but it was dark and I had a hard time getting a decent picture. 

While thinking of what I should call this post I was inspired by the crystal winter colors....and I was decorating my mantle in a Winter Wonderland style....sooo. I think it fits.
