Pink 'n Green

Ignore the tired looking smile. I actually had a great day at school....it's been a very long weekend with date night, two birthdays and outing with my mom. Looking forward to next weekend....oh, there is 4th of July & another birthday. I guess I'll have to wait for summer break in 3 weeks. ☺

So this morning I wanted something dressy....I just felt like a was wearing a lot casual outfits due to the warm weather....and this outfit came together. I really liked it and that is why I finally made time to take a picture of my outfit. Yeah, and then changed into something more comfy once I came home into my hot attic apartment. 

I totally love how the belt is the item pulling the outfit colors together.

Pastel Stones

Got my pictures doneat the church building this time. I was looking at a challenge to get an idea what to wear and it was "solids" and this what I put together. The necklace I got a little while back for only around $5.....hard to find here in Germany. And the purse you see above one of my favorites.

Pink Linen

I wore this outfit yesterday. I sooo wanted to wear something from my new things.And this pink linen skirt is pretty much the only thing that already fits. It also is a little to big but comfortable and makes the skirt longer.

I love bright pinks and reds with navy blue. So that is what I did. I wore a navy striped Tee. I got it at walmart almost 4 years ago and still love it's casual feminine style. Since it is still a bit chilly in the morning and evening I wore this navy sweater and brought the hot pink up to my face with a pink felt rose.

While working on the photos I noticed that my necklace clasp was in the front....oh well....my hubby didn't see while taking these pictures of my.

And...if you're wondering where I am taking these pictures. It's at my church's new building. It's being renovated my Pastor's office being the farthest along with it's freshly painted walls. And since the whole front of the building has huge windows it is very bright and cheery....perfect picture place.

Well....off to continue my at home Italian date with honey. Just stopped by to give you my fun outfit.

Through the Fields

This Sunday I actually got to take a picture of my outfit outside. We were at my mom's and when we walked the dog we got some pictures of my pastel outfit. I love my pastels and you have seen this dress before....it's definitly a favorite of mine.....I have not worn it since Valentines Day.

I wore high heels to church....but quickly put my comfortable sparkle shoes to walk the dog. Never did get a picture of my heels....one day ladies I'll do a post of all my heels. lol

And I am totally loving the canola flowers blooming everywhere!!

It makes me happy.....I've recieved the Liebster Award once or twice before but did not have to time to answer questions... and since I have some extra time today and I always love reading people's answers....here we go.

 1. What’s your favorite Bible verse (or life verse)?
This is a hard one. I don't have one verse that I like....I have several verses that are special to me depending on how I feel and what memory they are connected too. One verse that still inspires me is:

 "Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands."

I am right handed

My husband is left handed.....which means we can eat AND hold hands at the same time. lol

5. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? 
Alaska! My biggest dream....love rustic beauty. ☺

Tithe and then use it for my household....

7. What has been the most surprising thing (so far) about becoming a blogger? 
It's hard work! Planning on making a business with my "Blue Birdhouse" blog. Feminine Modesty is my just for fun blog.... ☺ Love all of you ladies and your support!

8. What’s your favorite season? 
Summer!! I love warm weather....I am always freezing. This girl knows how to layer.

 9. Cats or dogs? 
Dogs!! I was crazy about dog as a kid/teen. Now I think they're too much work to want to own one.

 10. What’s one thing you love about yourself?
My creativity. I get the most compliments for my creativity.  I enjoy it and do it well.

Purple Powder Puff

Wore this cheery purple and pink outfit on Monday.....makes Mondays easier to deal with. Again, wore a summer skirt and made it work for winter....well the warmer winter days at least.

The only problem with this skirt is that it is very light and full and sometimes there was a strong wind and uh..... hahahaha....trying to keep it under control was a challenge. ☺

Bright Pink Flag

Wanted to wear a skirt I don't wear often.....and out I pulled this bright pink skirt. I paired it with my navy stripes sweater and pinned my bright pink flower to add the pop.

By the way ignore my closed eyes....I really have trouble blinking during pictures when I blink during a selfie! :D

Pastels

I've been wanting to post this outfit since last week.... and now I am finally getting around to upload it.

I just love my pastel colors....looking bright and cheery in dull & black dressed winter world. I want to inspire you all to go through a week not wearing anything black....it might actually cheer you up during the long cold days.

Deck Your Neck

Sorry for the bad picture quality but in order to keep up with the challenge here on the blog it must be simple phone pictures.....

So today the challenge is "Deck Your Neck" so I decided to wear a scarf AND jewelry. Due too the shirt being a bit baggy it felt a little frumpy but the colors are a nice combination: hot pink & navy! I don't know what I think of wearing a scarf and necklace together....maybe a more simple necklace would have been better. What are your thoughts?

Crazy for Spots

Crazy for Spots was the challenge today...I was trying to decide between a few dotted items when this blouse caught my eye....spots on top of spots! And today's outfit also goes well with "Feminine Modesty". What is more feminine than a long flowy pink skirt. ☺
