I love dressing red, white and blue on this day. I always enjoyed celebrating with my church family, sitting outside, grilling, drinking soda , smelling the water from the kiddo pools and waiting for the fire works from the army base that night.

How to give Your Sunglasses a Facelift

Lately, when summer first started, I saw all these cool looking colorful sunglasses....and really wanted one. But I already had two at home and really didn't want to spend $10+ more for a new pair....I am cheap. One of my sunglasses I found at a thrift store for a $1 and the other I was gifted and had only cost $5.

So what did I do? I took my least favorite pair of glasses, got out my new minty nail polish and started painting.

You can have any color you want!! Nail polish colors are the limit. ☺ And id you want you could take the color off and paint it new anytime you want!

Who is looking for a pair of glasses now to go do this?

Navy & Tan Polka dot // Inspiration

I just love today's inspiration outfit. The polka dot theme.....wonderful!! Who does not like polka dots! And even though the colors are simple the style is so great.....perfect for a dressed up casual time. The shoes are comfy to walk in longer and I can totally see me wearing something like this when I'm out an about, running errands.

The Twirled Checkered Dress

Today I walked the dog through the vineyards to town to send off a graduation card for Patrick's brother and this is what I wore.....

 This dress was gifted to me by one of my college friends.....I tried it on and it fit so perfectly! I love the casual jean top with the summery checkered pattern. And the twirled pattern on the top.....just gives it flair.
