Braided Peach

For once I am actually posting an outfit of what I am wearing on the day I am wearing it! The weather is getting chilly but the sun is beautiful. 

I got this great sweater at the exchange store in my town last week. I normally am not big on wearing sweaters but the color is perfect....don't you think? 

If you follow my personal blog you know that I got a new camera...a more "learned" one and I am just in-love with these pictures. I  LOVE the colors and sharpness of these pictures.

Statement Necklace

Modern Modesty had a challenge going....and when it came to statement necklaces....I really didn't have one. But then I saw this little bird's nest necklace I did last year. It reminds me of my personal blog "The Blue Birdhouse"....and so its a statement. ☺

The reason I like this outfit is how I matched up colors I would have never put together hadn't it been for the scarf.☺

What do you think...is it ok?

Refashion: Making a Too Big Sweater Fit

I personally don't really ever BUY myself anything new....but I do get things at the exchange store semi regular....there I found awesome things that sometimes are just too big. This sweater was a weird length and 2 sizes to big...so what did I do make it fit like this?
