Dressed in Purple

Last week I wore this outfit to church Wednesday night. It was super hot outside and the Tee is prefect because of the lightweight cotton & the neckline is high enough not to need to layer. I decided to give the outfit a boost with a long necklace turned belt using the flower as as buckle.

The skirt is wide and flowy and just make me feel so feminine yet cool in the hot weather.

Wishing I Were at the Beach

I am telling ya....it's hot here and this nautical look makes me wish I were at the beach. There I'd feel the warm sand in between my toes and feel the cool water splashing up my legs. The hot sun beating on my head would be evened out by the cool air coming in over the water. *sigh*

A Country Gal's Sunday Outfit

This Country Outfit I wore a few Sundays ago. I had worn white high heel sandals and traded them for some comfy flats to walk the dog. 

 Since my mom was with me I could finally take pictures in front of the romantic old green door!

A Roped Shirt

I found this shirt at the exchange store.....and had to take it. It is a perfectly square and actually kinda looks like a pillow case. ☺ The rope through the shirt give it a nautical look....it is different but it actually looks nice!
