Pink Linen

I wore this outfit yesterday. I sooo wanted to wear something from my new things.And this pink linen skirt is pretty much the only thing that already fits. It also is a little to big but comfortable and makes the skirt longer.

I love bright pinks and reds with navy blue. So that is what I did. I wore a navy striped Tee. I got it at walmart almost 4 years ago and still love it's casual feminine style. Since it is still a bit chilly in the morning and evening I wore this navy sweater and brought the hot pink up to my face with a pink felt rose.

While working on the photos I noticed that my necklace clasp was in the front....oh well....my hubby didn't see while taking these pictures of my.

And...if you're wondering where I am taking these pictures. It's at my church's new building. It's being renovated my Pastor's office being the farthest along with it's freshly painted walls. And since the whole front of the building has huge windows it is very bright and cheery....perfect picture place.

Well....off to continue my at home Italian date with honey. Just stopped by to give you my fun outfit.

My New Finds

So on Monday I helped my grandma bring some things up to favorite exchange store. My grandma has been helping out an acquaintance go through his stuff and get rid of things he doesn't need...and we bring it to out favorite little store.

You might have heard me tell about it but if not... they have a policy that if you bring something you can fill up the bag you brought with other items from their store. Love!  That store is one of my greatest joys. I can be a crazy shopper without spending a penny!

If you are wondering about the card in the middle of my pile of clothes. I "Dress My Truth" and was also making sure the colors (tints) went with what looks best on me! And they did! ☺ And if you watch the video to see which Type you are...can you guess what I am?

Only like 2-3 of the skirts actually fit. Most of the are 1-5 sizes bigger! But with my love of refashioning and sewing I'll have a few more colored skirts in my wardrobe by next week hopefully! If the coloring is not great I have: checkered brown, shiny gold, light lime, yellow, winter white, short pink, polka dot and long pink.

And did I say I like polka dot. I live my polka dot jean jacket....so much fun!And love the scarf...my two favorite colors- blue and turquoise.

Cannot wait to share outfits with these colored skirts!

Knitted Dress

This dress was gifted to last year.I really haven't worn it much because the dress is a little to short for me.....nothing that a cute lace slip can't fix.

I actually bought that lace just so I can sew it on a slip to extend some of my shorter skirts and dresses. Since the dress is knit it is very comfortable and easily is pulled over the knees while sitting making the dress more modest.

The days here have been very cool in the mornings and then gets very warm during the day. So I wore the short white sweater in the morning but had my lace T-shirt on for when it warmed up.

How long/short are you comfortable with?

Through the Fields

This Sunday I actually got to take a picture of my outfit outside. We were at my mom's and when we walked the dog we got some pictures of my pastel outfit. I love my pastels and you have seen this dress before....it's definitly a favorite of mine.....I have not worn it since Valentines Day.

I wore high heels to church....but quickly put my comfortable sparkle shoes to walk the dog. Never did get a picture of my heels....one day ladies I'll do a post of all my heels. lol

And I am totally loving the canola flowers blooming everywhere!!
