I've been wanting to post this outfit since last week.... and now I am finally getting around to upload it.

I just love my pastel colors....looking bright and cheery in dull & black dressed winter world. I want to inspire you all to go through a week not wearing anything black....it might actually cheer you up during the long cold days.

Earrings

Finally want to share it on here: I got my ears pierced! 

Yeah, some of you might be surprised since you see me wearing earings in some of my posts....but they were just really cool clip-ons. Getting my ears pierced was one of my husbands Christmas gifts to me. I am so looking forward to getting to wear different kinds of earings in a few weeks! 

 Do you have your ears pierced? Are earrings a big part of your outfit?

Winter Wonderland

Things have been a bit slow here since the challenge ended but I do want to continue posting regulary even if it is not every day. ☺ 

This was yesterday's outfit I quickly put together. While putting clothes away I saw my mint sweater and was looking forward to an opportunity to wear it. Sorry you cannot see my skirt but it was dark and I had a hard time getting a decent picture. 

While thinking of what I should call this post I was inspired by the crystal winter colors....and I was decorating my mantle in a Winter Wonderland style....sooo. I think it fits.

Deck Your Neck

Sorry for the bad picture quality but in order to keep up with the challenge here on the blog it must be simple phone pictures.....

So today the challenge is "Deck Your Neck" so I decided to wear a scarf AND jewelry. Due too the shirt being a bit baggy it felt a little frumpy but the colors are a nice combination: hot pink & navy! I don't know what I think of wearing a scarf and necklace together....maybe a more simple necklace would have been better. What are your thoughts?

Would/ Do you wear both together sometimes?

Floral and Tweed

I tried something a little out of my comfortzone on Sunday.....pattern mixing. I like it when things match perfectly.....but on I've been inspired by ladies mixing patterns (and it actually looked nice!) The jackets pattern is really small so it wasn't to bold....and I can see myself wearing this outfit again in the colder months ahead.

What do you think of pattern mixing? Would you wear this combo?

Frilly 50's

Love this outfit! It is so fun & happy.....don't know of a better way to explain it. This blue polkadot dress was bought for my engagement pictures....but was a GREAT investment. I just love navy polkadots and you can wear it with so many solid colors: red, turquoise, peach, yellow...the list goes on.

Last Sunday I paired it with my ruffled turquoise sweater to make it a little warmer. The polka dot & turquoise flower pulled everything together making it matchy matchy. The necklace I traded on a German online sale and actually has floral material weaved in it.

The weather has been nice and warm this past week......but you can see it....fall is here!

New Jewelry

I got a gift card to Bijou Brigitte for Christmas. As you know, sales are going on everywhere and I really wanted to get things during the sale....it's a lot more fun to get 3 necklaces  for the same money you could only pay 1,5 necklaces!

So last week I went and found the 2 necklaces on the left for half off!! The circle necklace on the right I paid full price for but I had seen it awhile back and really loved how simple & yet fun it was....and $12 is not to bad.☺

The pearl necklace I got for less than half off from SIX a few days after Christmas. I had seen a wonderful scarf (want to share it on the blog soon) and finally used my birthday (June) gift cards. Anyway, SIX is very trendy and I don't always see things I like but I fell inlove with this 3 string pearl necklace! A 96 year old lady I was taking care of over the Holidays had just given me 5€ and since she LOVES fashion I decided to get myself the necklace with "her" money. ☺ She loved it!

Christmas Jewelry

I don't own any Christmas jewelry except one set of snowmen earrings....and one of those are broken. But I really do love Christmas: the decorations, the colors and the festive jewelry! So I went on etsy and sent scouting for some pretty Christmas jewelry. I found some fun ones with great pops of color. I found some vintage looking winter necklaces and a few classy looking accessories.
