Butterflies & Ladybugs

So before I go to the zoo today with my family I want to post yesterday's outfit. I love the classiest of this pencil skirt....and the happy yellow color! The day before yesterday I went to a thrift shop with my mom and found some great items including this scarf.

What do you think of the scarf? The bright colors....and it has butterflies and ladybugs on it....the only 2 bugs I can stand. :)

Yellow Pencil

Remember this skirt. Also one of my recent finds. It was 5 sizes to big. That was eaily fixed with a sewing machine. With the zipper in the back and not pockets all I had to do is sew down the sides....and viola....a new pencil Skirt. I felt so "teachery" and girly wearing this outfit.

The combo with the navy polka dot blouse was pinterest inspired....I really liked it...and you?

February's Florals

I wore this outfit on Sunday....and is totally something I can see myself wearing again. I was VERY comfortable and I made this summer outfit super warm. Layers ladies....layers! ☺ The dress was my spring board for the outfit. I love wearing it with the yellow sleeveless shirt which I cannot wear by itself. In the summer I wear a white Tee and on this cold Sunday morning I wore a warm longsleeved shirt. This sweater that was gifted to me may not be the exact blue but still matches perfectly somehow. My blue necklace made it look just a bit fancier. And my boots.... wear those way to much!

Loving my pierced ears....or the fact that I can change my earrings now to match my outfits. ☺ I need more colored earings so I can be matchy matchy.

I ♥ My Blanket Scarf

I love my blanket scarf! I got it after Christmas with my gift card last year at SIX. I wear it every day as my "outside" scarf. I normally don't wear it as an accessory scarf... first, it's pretty big and long and secondly because I'm just not a big "scarf-wearer". I love it though. It's also really nice because on those days when its just a little chilly out and I am a bit cold I like wrap this scarf around me..... If you don't have one...you need to get one! They are so pretty and useful!

French Mustard

Before I head to bed: here is today's challenge. Today's challenge said maroon and mustard... But I do "Dressing Your Truth" and those are not my colors so I did "French mustard" and purple. It is not a favorite outfit... But something different!

Pops of Yellow in the Study

I am doing my online classes at my mom's job in order to have a more structured study time. This outfit was inspired by wanting something fun. What do you think does this outfit make you think of fun....that's what we I need while working on school. ☺
