Favorite Skirt

You know....that one thing you could wear every single day?

This skirt was an exciting thrift store find. I love it because its corduroy, it is extremely comfortable, its not to long so I can wear it on rainy days and something I did not know when I bought it.....I have lots of different tops I can wear it with!

I also tried a new hair style today... What do you think?

Purple & Yellow

I tend to be a matchy-matchy person....so when I saw the challenge "color clock" on Modern Modesty I was a bit stumped. At first I paired some really bright colors together: yellow, hot pink and bright turquoise.

That was a bit much for me so I did this: white, purple, yellow and blue. 

After my "photo session" I came home and started snipping at this yellow cardigan....and now it fits perfectly....and got some ruffled sleeves too....tutorial coming. ☺

What are your favorite fall colors?

Refashioned Turtleneck to Ruffleneck

I think these are some fun fall colors. I am really liking this chocolate brown skirt and I know you'll be seeing it quite often in future posts.

 The shirt I got a REALLY long time ago. I decided to do things a pit different and tuck in the shirt and use one of my colorful new scarf as a belt. 

Is that something you would do?

I refashioned the shirt from a short sleeve turtleneck. I hadn't worn it in a long time but now.... things just might change. You can see the tutorial on {The Blue Birdhouse}
